Loda Hopper Harris, age 94, of Madisonville, formerly of Maryville passed away, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at East Tennessee Health Care in Madisonville.
She was born October 14, 1915. She was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church for seventeen years and formerly of Riverview Baptist of Rockford for fifteen years and North Knoxville Baptist for sixteen years.

She was preceded in death by husband, Howard Blattenberger for 23 years. Second mate Amos Pearson for 17 years; late husband Elmon Harris for 17 years; daughter, Anna Blattenberger 14 and a half months old; stepson, Reece Pearson; stepdaughter, Alma Pearson Owenby; father, W. R. (Bobby) Hopper; mother and step father, Richard and Annie Evans; four half brothers, Frank and Bill Collins, Denver and Allen Evans; two half sisters, Betty Vandergriff and Florence Seaman. She is survived by one stepdaughter, Shirley Collins of Maryville; one stepson and spouse, Wayne (Gene) and Bonnie Harris of Morrow, Georgia; seven step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends and neighbors.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, with Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Clarks Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
