Evelyn E. Willet, 57, of Saylorsburg, died Thursday in her home. Monroe County Coroner Robert Allen attributed death to natural causes.She was the wife of Eugene S. Willet. They were married 37 years in September.
She worked at Lamar Fashions, Sciota, for the past 19 years.
Born in Tannersville, she was a daughter of Jessie (Mader) Kane of East Stroudsburg and the late John Kane.
She was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Stroudsburg.
Survivors: Husband and mother; sons, Douglas of Denver, Colo., and Dale of Palmerton; daughter Deborah of Denver; brothers, Sherwood of East Stroudsburg and Glenn of Emmaus; sister, Thelma of East Stroudsburg, and three grandchildren.
Memorial services: 5 p.m. Saturday in the church. No calling hours. Arrangements, Kresge Funeral Home, Brodheadsville.

William Lewis Rinker [Parents] was born on 16 Feb 1882 in Stroudsburg, Monroe Co., PA. He died on 30 Sep 1951 in Center Valley, Lehigh Co., PA and was buried on 3 Oct 1951 in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg, Monroe Co., PA. William married Fayme G. Wesser.
William L. Rinker was employed as stationary engineer in charge of the heating system at Allentown Hospital for almost 12 years. Prior to that he had held a similar position with the local Merchants Ice Co. for 26 years. Earlier he had been a glass blower at several area plants.
He was a member of Jordan Lodge, F. & AM, and of Lehigh Consistory, both of Allentown, PA. For 17 years prior to his death, he lived with his son-in-law and daughter at their hotel "Hotel Windsor" in Center Valley, PA.
William died in the Hotel Windsor and was buried in Prospect Cemetery on the same plot as his parents. (Obit in newspaper)

GARRETT W. HALTERMAN, 77, of Smithfield Township, East Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, at home.He was the beloved husband of Lois (Heeter) Halterman, at home. Together they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 21.
Born on Dec. 29, 1925, in Wooddale, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Yaggie) Halterman. Garrett was a loving husband, father and grandfather throughout his lifetime.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, after which he was employed by Van D. Yetter in East Stroudsburg as an auto mechanic for 10 years. He then worked for Freedman's Express of Bath as a truck driver for 20 years until he retired in 1983. After retiring from Freedman's, he was a truck driver for six years for Norman Fish. He then went on to work for his son, Ronald Halterman, as a truck driver for another 10 years until going home to the Lord.
Garrett will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Ronald Halterman and his wife, Brenda, of East Stroudsburg; two grandchildren, Brianna Halterman and Daniel Halterman, both of East Stroudsburg; and one brother, Paul Halterman and his wife, Dolores, of East Stroudsburg. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marlin.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg. The Rev. Samuel Huffard will officiate. Burial follows in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg. A visitation for family and friends will take place from 9 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to VNA/Hospice of Monroe County, 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301; or Grace Lutheran Church, 25 Lackawanna Ave., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.

Lois Halterman, 83, of Smithfield Township, died Friday morning, August 5, at Milford Manor where she had been a resident for several months. She was the widow of Garrett Halterman who died April 16, 2003.
Born on April 19, 1928 at the family home in Smithfield Township, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Elsie (Hoffecker) Heeter and lived in Brushy Mountain all her life.
She was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School and was active in the ladies quilting group at the former Grace Lutheran Church in East Stroudsburg.
Surviving are two grandchildren, Brianna Halterman and Daniel Halterman both of Smithfield Township and a brother, Charles Heeter and his wife Joan of East Stroudsburg.
