Corona Cramer Buck, 92, a resident of Grace Park in Stroudsburg, died Friday morning, January 26, 2007 at the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Andrew G. Keiser who died in 1966 and of the late Edwin F. Buck who died in 1998.
Born on December 29, 1914 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Russell C. and Jennie (Mader) Cramer.
She was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School and of East Stroudsburg University. She did graduate work at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania State University. She taught school in Tannersville, Pennsylvania, Malverne, and Binghamton, New York, concentrating in special education, and was an accomplished amateur artist.
She was a School Director in Hamilton Township, where she served a term as president and was active in consolidating the one room schools to form Hamilton Elementary School. Later, she supported Hamilton Township School District's jointure with Stroud Union School District in 1955.
For many years, she was a member of Cherry Valley Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. Later, she was a member and active volunteer of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg.
She was a member of the Monroe County Historical Association where she served on the board of directors; member of the Daughters of the American Revolution-Jacob Stroud Chapter; active with the American Cancer Society in Monroe County; and a Gray Lady volunteer at the Pocono Medical Center for over 20 years.
Surviving are a son, Austin M. Keiser and his wife, Susan L. of Cedaredge, Colorado; a daughter, Barbara J. Keiser and her husband, Jeffrey L. Wright of Stroudsburg; three grandchildren, Joaquin A. Dexter of Cory, Colorado and Hannah C. Wright and Andrew K. Wright, both of Stroudsburg. A granddaughter, Mishelle L. Taylor died in 2003.
There are three great grandchildren, Mikaela L. Taylor of Karval, Colorado and Jessica M. Dexter and John A. Dexter, both of Cory Colorado. In addition, there are three step-children, E. He started working for McGraw-Edison, formerly Line material, in 1941 and retired in 1984. He was also employed by Frank Buck Motors, Inc., Pocono Peterbilt in Bartonsville from 1965 to present.
He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg. He was a past superintendent of the Sunday Schools and chairman of the Building Fund. He was also active in the Boy Scouts and Boy Scout Council.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Lloyd of Stroudsburg; two sons, Frank Buck of Stroudsburg and David Buck of Sugar Run; a sister, Marguerite Townsend of Stroudsburg; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was president of Pocono Raceway, 1971-90, and served on the board of directors of East Stroudsburg Savings Association and Security Bank & Trust.

He attended First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, Fla. He was a founding director of Laurel Manor Nursing Home, Stroudsburg, and Camp Brainard Presbyterian Camp, Hamilton Township, Monroe County. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Rotary clubs, Stroudsburg and Nantucket, Mass.

Dorothy M. Cramer of Naples, Fla., and formerly of Stroudsburg, died early Wednesday, June 2, at Bentley Village, Naples, Fla. She was the loving wife for 69 years of the late Spencer C. Cramer, who died in 2002.Born on Feb. 17, 1913, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian Kiefer Prutzman, formerly of Stroudsburg.
She attended East Stroudsburg University and in her lifetime was active in organizations including: 4-H Club, Girl Scouts, Monroe County Historical Society, Monroe County Republican Women, Shawnee Presbyterian Church, Visiting Nurses and the Scranton School for the Deaf. She was a volunteer Gray Lady at Pocono Medical Center for 26 years, and was a member of the Bonita Springs Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by daughters, Carole Winding of Southern Pines, N.C., Judy Tolsdorf of Nantucket, Mass.; a son, Russell Cramer of Pocono Manor; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ermel Fream and Elaine Treible.

Clifford Leroy Cramer passed peacefully on April 3, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Hamilton Township. He would have been 95 on April 26th. The son of Russell and Jennie (Mader) Cramer, he retired in 1976 as President of R.C. Cramer Lumber Company, currently known as Cramer's Home Building Centers, a business his father started in 1915.
A grauate of Penn State University in 1938, he was the President of his fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, awarded the Diamond Owl as a member for 75 years, and a member of Skull and Bones. During World War II, he worked as a foreman at Bethlehem Steel.
Cliff gave wise counsel to many business and civic organizations. He served on the Board of East Stroudsburg National Bank from 1941 to 1968 when he was named its President. He retained that title when it became PoconoBank in 1970. Shen PoconoBank merged with Northeastern Bank in 1971, Cliff was named to its Board. He also chaired the bank's East Stroudsburg Associate Board until 1980. He served as Chairman of the Salvation Army Board, chairman of the Community Chest, now known as the United Way of Monroe County, and chairman of the Red Cross Board. He was a member of the East Stroudsburg Fire Department and the East Stroudsburg Area Joint School Authority. He was a Director of the Pocono Mountain Chamber of Commerce and the Pocono Industrial Development Authority. He was President of the AAA Club of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Chairman and Treasurer of the Pennsylvania AAA Motor Federation, Chairman of the Board of the Lumberman's Merchandise Corp. as well as the Middle Atlantic Lumberman's Association, and a director of AAA of America, the Keystone Shortway Association, and the Economic Development Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He was a 68 year member of the J. Simpson Africa Lodge of Pennsylvania.
He was a member of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church, serving as an Elder and as Chairman of its Building Committee. In 1994, he and his wife Joan (Brimer) Cramer moved to Green Valley, AZ and then to Tucson, where Joan died in 2005.
Known for his charming smile, Cliff said he was very blessed and perfectly happy. He enjoyed golf with friends and traveled extensively with his wife Joan. for three years, he was a "senior living well" at Grace Park in Stroudsburg, then enjoyed his remaining years at Pleasant Valley Manor.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennet Ellen Cramer Parker and her husband Dale of Analomink; a son, William Brimer Cramer and his wife Barbara of Stroudsburg; grandchildren, Bill Parker and his wife Lani of Foxborough, MA, John Parker and his wife Anne of Chardon, OH, David Parker and his wife Amanda of Analomink, Linda O'Donovan and her husband John of Pearl River, NY, James Parker and his wife Siu of Chantilly, VA, Joan Miller and her husband Philip of Raleigh, NC, Jennifer Hatch and her husband Jeff of Peach Bottom, PA and Mark Cramer of Santa Monica, CA; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Olin Cramer of Portland, PA and many nephews and nieces. Berne F. Cramer, 92, formerly of Mt. Pocono, died Wednesday, January 11 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Hamilton Township. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Mader) Cramer, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born on January 10, 1920 he was the son of the late Russell and Jennie Cramer. Berne graduated from East Stroudsburg High School and attended Penn State University.
During World War II, Berne worked for Boeing Air Craft in Seattle, Washington. Upon returning to the area, he opened and managed a branch of the RC. Cramer Lumber Company, now known as Cramer's Cashway, where he worked until his retirement.
Berne belonged to the United Methodist Church in Mt. Pocono for more than 60 years. He faithfully served his church in many leadership capacities.
He served as a volunteer firefighter for both the Pocono Summit and Mt. Pocono fire companies. He was also a long standing member of the Mt. Pocono Rotary Club. Berne was also active in the development of the Mt. Pocono Airport and the Mt. Pocono YMCA. In addition, he was the first president of the Monroe County Visiting Nurses Association and served on numerous committees at the Monroe County Hospital, now Pocono Medical Center.
Berne served his community faithfully and was also generous with his time and financial contributions. Last year he was honored by the Monroe County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals with the lifetime achievement award, recognizing decades of philanthropy and service to the community.
In addition to his wife, Jean, he is survived by a daughter, Harriet; a son, Kenneth and his wife Doreen; two brothers, Clifford and Olin; five grandchildren, Aaron, Abigail, Janet, Donald and Kelly; two great grandchildren Russell and Katya; and several nieces and nephews.. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald.
