Lewis W. Oney, 78, of Stroudsburg, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Helen G. (Keller) Oney. They would have celebrated their 56th anniversary yesterday .He was a welder for the International Boiler Works, East Stroudsburg, for many years.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Ellsworth and Jessie (Plattenburg) Oney.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Stroudsburg.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Elaine Foulkes of Myersville, Md.; sister, Harriet LaBar of Stroudsburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 3 p.m. today , Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, 27 Washington St., East Stroudsburg. Call 2-3 p.m. today.
